Climate Misinformation Report Launch Campaign
A global press and webinar campaign for the IPIE's systematic review on climate misinformation, reaching millions of readers across major outlets worldwide.
A global press and webinar campaign for the IPIE's systematic review on climate misinformation, reaching millions of readers across major outlets worldwide.
The Problem
The IPIE had completed a systematic review revealing how climate misinformation is evolving, from outright denial toward new tactics that discredit climate solutions themselves. The report needed strong global coverage and a way to reach policymakers and the public directly rather than remain a technical document read only by researchers.

What We Did
I coordinated press outreach around the report's launch on 19 June 2025, ahead of London Climate Action Week 2025, and organised two dedicated webinars, one for US and European audiences on launch day and a second on 3 July for Asia Pacific audiences, briefing stakeholders on the findings and how to counter misinformation.

The Solution
By pairing press engagement with two region specific webinars, the campaign reached journalists, policymakers and researchers directly, while giving stakeholders across different time zones a chance to engage with the findings and ask questions live.
