The Problem
As the IPIE's research and public profile on AI accountability grew, so did it's exposure to reputational and security risks: SLAPP suits, cyberattacks, political attacks, and data breaches The organisation needed to prepare for these scenarios before they arose, but had no unified plan in place for how it would respond if they did.

My Role
I mapped the full risk landscape facing IPIE across five key threat categories, then built response protocols for each scenario, covering escalation paths, internal roles, and external messaging. I compiled all of this into a 60-page Crisis Communications Guide for staff and leadership, giving the organisation a clear, practical reference for navigating reputational and security threats.
